The idea behind the project is simple: a good tool should stay simple, fast, and honest about what it does with the data of the people who use it — no hidden data collection, no dependency on a third-party service to function.

The purpose
Why LiveAI exists
Most AI assistants force you to trust a central server with everything: your conversations, your habits, sometimes even your files. LiveAI starts from a simple idea — artificial intelligence should be a tool you use, not a service you submit to.
The app connects directly to the AI provider of your choice (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Groq, Mistral…) using your own key, without ever routing it elsewhere. The provider does receive the message you send it — that's necessary for it to reply — but your key, your settings, your conversation history, and agent mode over your files all stay stored locally, under your control, without ever passing through a LiveAI server.
If you'd rather not manage a key yourself, the "LiveAI built-in" option lets you pay as you go with credits (packs or subscription). In that specific case, your messages pass through our accounts server to be relayed to the AI provider, and payment is handled directly by Stripe — LiveAI never sees or stores your banking information.
The goal is to offer an experience as polished as the best assistants on the market, while keeping the transparency and simplicity of a tool you truly own.
